Luffy run out of G4 and was a dead weight vs kaido and BM for 10 minutes and the remaining 4 SN fought BM-kaido till Luffy was back again so it means no problem if Zoro just take small break there.

With Kaido alone they can tag team more properly.

How was luffy dead weight ?
He can move after G4 move like showed with his fight with Kat.
Oda also said he could move after G4 in DR but he let other take care of him .
So while he can't use haki he can still run or dodge so we can't really say anything either way .

Not done with the chapter yet but just gotta say, this must be gut wrenching for Zoro.

Man, the guy can't be everywhere at once, he has to save Luffy here, protect the crew there, "Zoro sacrifice your life", "Zoro trade tornadoes with Dragon Yonkou", "Zoro take on Yonkou combo attack", like give this man a break.

Now he wasn't able to get to Luffy in time but still kept his eye on him, as he has done this whole fight.

is KING OF FEATS really a meme anymore?

It is a hell of a feat. Not also holding for a bit the attack but also being able to keep up with Killer's speed despite the injuries. Depending on how Zoro is on the chapter 1010 the feat could be even better

Standing for a second and dying is not a great feat. Good, very good. But not great. Don't overestimate.

I have half a dozen threads to write on the events of this chapter (over the weekend, my procrastination at work is finally catching up to me. ), but for now:

Supernova trio:

Yonkou trio:

The Grandmaster stops the attack of two Yonkou and challenges them head-on. The Yonkou are shocked that someone can stop their ultimate attack.


For all the tier specialists who jerk of the Supernova trio panels, I guess Zoro is Yonkou level now?


And because Zoro is in the middle of them, clearly he must be the strongest.

Amazing chapter, Zoro was insane and I fucking love teamwork moments. Hope Luffy tries the barrier defense again and succed unlike that time in Udon, would be great.

Dunno what to expect from Big Mom now, but would like to see her out for a few chapters while SHs finish the Tobiroppo.
We could get Marco, Jinbe and maybe Yamato facing her + support from other SHs. This would also finally give room for Sanji vs King in Marco's place. Pure wishful thinking tho.

That was so badass what Kid did, taking the brunt force of that punch from Big Mom, just to pull off his ultimate play in the end. Big Mom is now off the skull, but Kid had to pay with blood to get that to happen, along with the other SN help.

First of all, I'm pretty sure they can all see where they are on the roof. Secondly, it's all the editor's comments (mistranslated on scans). It specifically says she's falling on the sea.

Besides she's fallen on the sea before. She'll survive. Just won't come back anytime soon.

I think they would've shown us the sea below behind BM if it actually was that. Also, the editor's comments are probably just reiterating what Big Mom said and are maybe meant to not make us think that there could be the surface below. I still believe it's Wano below her. The only other way she falls into the sea and survives is if she falls directly onto her ship.
