Yes. This is the best hope in my opinion:

Zoro will probably rest a bit to gain his vitality and stamina back, at least partially.

Law could eventually prevent that Zoro needs to go through the trouble by himself. If this occurs it shall be crystal clear that he would in all likelihood return to the rooftop.

Yup. These were my thoughts in the spoilers and even more so seeing the chapter.
Both kaido and law have seen luffy use coc and commented on it

They both saw asura
Neither said anything about coc

Once zoro hit him
Only kaido says coc

Law says nothing.

It's clear to me that asura isn't coc
He just hit kaido with asura clad in coc.

well it can be partly true though. if such techniques can be utilized only by persons who have CoC haki (doesn't must be awaken) since CoC haki is inherited by birth. either you have it or not. if you have it you can awaken it at some point.
