5 SN were in front of 2 Yonkos and Zoro performed the best and proved he was the strongest. Luffy has now had time to grow stronger. Zoro will have an opportunity to grow stronger as well.

Zoro will kill Kaido. That has been hinted since Punk Hazard. Like Luffy needed time to grow stronger to be able to fight Kaido one on one. Zoro needs time to grow stronger to achieve his feat, kill Kaido.

It's also highly plausible that Oda made all of Zoro's best moments happen earlier, so he focuses on his development later. Giving him his FB and connection to Wano. Then avenging Yasuie and either slaying the Yamato no Orochi by himself or slaying the Genbu.

Out of all the SHs, Zoro has the most underwhelming backstory. I would like to see more development and story content for his character. I am almost afraid that Oda will never further explore Zoro's backstory. He has a lot of great feats and present moments in the manga that developed his character but I personally want a backstory.

Hybrid is supposed to be strongest in terms of physicals because it’s a mix of animal and base form so it increases speed strength stamina etc but it doesn’t increase durability.

Zoan form is kaidos most durable form. That’s how it is for all zoans.

No i mean Sanji can be somewhat of a war strategist in this arc. Dividing the enemy forces, set up a decoy, place Usopp in tactical place, guide Nami to set up her elemental mirage in proper place, pincering the tobi roppo, pit the Calamies in traps or pit themcagainst opponents they most unsuitable against, etc2 in short playing Zhuge Liang. If direct physical combat is taken by L - Z at least Sanji can contribute in ways that Zoro or Luffy cant which is using his intelligence to secure the warring pieces under the roof.

Yeah dragon form is the most durable since Its all scales. Base form and hybrid form isn’t all scales. Scales is what makes kaido hard to cut
