I've honestly come to realize that Linlin may be a huge ally in the future, even if she is fought and defeated here. There are clear hints and ties to Elbaf for sure, but that doesn't mean she has to be an antagonist there.

Who knows how the rest of this arc ends up, but this chapter has convinced me that regardless of how she flip flops her personality, Oda is definitely looking to redeem her character. Her finding out what she did to those kids is extremely important to that.
Big Mom and her crew will be allies in the final war Imo.

This is one of the main reasons why I just can't see Big Mom going down for good on Wano. Everything that is setup to resolve her character arc has been centered around Elbaf.
It's why im also not too upset if her kids don't actually join the fight here. There's opportunity for for to be shown off in a different way at Elbaf if anything, but let's see how this plays out

There are also hints that Katakuri will take over the BMPs.

So..... Big Mom is angry that Kaido's crew have no pirate code!?

The same woman who would betray an alliance and basically showed no code!?

Okay... just enjoy the ride Sadistic Senpai, just enjoy the weird flip flop we're seeing... day after day I'm losing interest

I can already tell Big Mom plot this arc from this point onward will probably be a sore to the eye for most viewers...
It's the "mother" personality doing this. It's contradictory just like how Pudding couldn't decide whether to be a evil or love Sanji.

Wow, I just realized the parallels that Oda is pulling from Baratie in regards to Big Mom's character. Gin was grateful to Sanji for feeding them on Baratie, and ends up attacking Don Kreig at the end of the Arc.

Now we have Big Mom being grateful to the people of Okobore Town for feeding her, and she ends up attacking the Beast Pirates for destroying the town.

This could be a clue that Oda is setting it up for Big Mom to find out that Sanji is the one who made the Wedding Cake and is responsible for stopping her from destroying her own Country.

Really glad that Oda is digging deeper into Big Mom's mentality. It's all starting to come together now.

Ok since I'll never get to write my giant Linlin thread so I'll just give you the TL;DR and you boys can run with it lol

I think Linlin will survive and make it to Elbaf. Pudding will be there and will transfer the memory from the giant that saw Linlin eat the kids back to Linlin. It'll trigger her downfall and Katakuri will take over the family and help Luffy.

There's not another arc with Big mom as a main enemy at Elbaf, just accept that already.
Oda came up with a BS asspull plot to make an ally out of BM.

She'll return to WCI as O-lin and Katakuri will take over as captain

So Big Mom did use advanced Kings haki to knock out Page One

As long as Big Mom doesn't become an ally to Strawhats I will be happy.

So Big Mom sort of does have seem like she has multiple personality disorder with her "mother mode"
I definitely don't think she will be a full ally here (she'll switch back), but it may happen post-arc. I can't see her not continuing to be friends with Tama after after arc.

Here's my thought process:

I agree with the idea, but I actually think she will be an ally (or at least not a full enemy anymore) and once she finds out this backstory of her eating the kids, her redemption will be sacrificing herself for some big event.

Then Kata takes over the crew for the EoS war. Total guess atm but I think her relationship with Tama isn't something that will die after this arc, she's been showing her soft side since Udon.

Basically:

- She loses here
- Ends beef with Luffy or chases him to Elbaf, maybe even leads him there
- Finds out about her past
- Dies at Elbaf protecting people

protecting people from whom?

Why should we accept your delusions?

all the build up says BM main villain of Elbaf, and even basic common sense suggest that

there's actually no reason to think that won't happen

I don't see her getting "redeemed" per se. And I put it in quotes since I don't think she's actually evil. She's simply a child, and for being born in a monster's body, could never be disciplined into learning proper manners.

But we'll see. It's all on the table.
