Exactly. Which means the current giant’s parents and grand parents were alive then. And since the World Government doesn’t have jurisdiction over Elbaf, they should have the full history of the void century there. (Since there can’t have been any buster calls or history wipes).

There’s a lot of other reasons too, and I can make a whole post about if you want. But I think the community actually has it backwards. ELBAF is where the final battle will take place, and where a strawhat (probably Usopp) will die.

We are indeed close to the finale, and that's why i'm upset.

I'm upset that Oda wasted most of the post timeskip panel time for the two buffoons Kaido and Meme while we barely get glimpses of Teach and Shanks every 50+ chapters or so. I would understand it if they were intended to be written as decent antagonists, but then you get the fucking mother mode aka Oda pussy mode and a giant horned punching bag.

Kaido is a lost cause, but BM really had the potential to be a memorable, well-executed character.
