Sanji reappears simping in the next chapters like nothing happened, Page One reappears at the start of the Onigashima Raid (1 week later in the manga).

And yes, based on feats, Jinbe > Sanji. Potentially mid-diffing or low-diffing the strongest Tobiroppo is more impressive than an extreme-diff tag team against Jack or Queen.
Because killer is a weak loser who only survived that one hit kill because zoro was being nice like Mihawk was to him. That's the gap between them it's so big killer could take advantage of a guy eating poison for a week, land a direct hit, and then it does nothing. Killer is too weak to even pull his weapon out of the grandmasters flexing pec.

All the hype that Oda created for Kaido was killed by introducing Oden. It would have been better to show that Kaido was far superior than Oden or atleast gave them a good fight. Kaido backing off from fighting Oden when he came back, and then winning by one-shotting Oden when he was distracted. That gave kaido a bad image and his hype dropped from 100 to 40-50. And now we have Luffy facing Kaido in base form. Is it implying that Oden, who travelled the world with strongest pirates, is below luffy, who is just 19 y.o. When I start to think about it, it seems everything is wrong with Wano Arc. Maybe Oda had to make major changes, or whatever, but the hype he created for this arc is not justified from what we have seen so far. Hope King and Queen are not clowned and sidelined like Big Mom pirates. Onigashima is just a mess. I hope we get to the ground soon and things get a bit serious. So far, there was nothing but gags except roof piece.
Yes. Why is this so hard for people to understand? Do you remember how Oden got his ass blown out by Roger zero diff? Luffy is meant to be on rogers level, not oden who is a nobody compared to the world outside of wano.
That's the entire reason he left! Because the world is so big and amazing. Yes the main character is stronger than a famous samurai. Yes luffy is cooler and stronger than kalgara or noland or prime riku doldo or chinjao. These are side characters who have influence on the world but aren't global legendary figures like Roger, whitebeard, and luffy
It'll be chapter 1500 and people will be saying shit like omg how can usopp shoot better than van augur he's only 19 he should be a coward like in chapter 50 because I want the old crap

Thats not my point. I like Luffy's growth. Just saying that too much focus on Oden was unnecessary. If Oda wanted to point out that he cant beat Kaido, then it could be shown when he returned. Kaido himself stated that if Oden started a war at that time then he would have chance of winning (or something like that). Why to drag the story if there is nothing noteworthy at the end of it.
