Even the Likes of Moria and Crocodile became out of prime losers after losing to a yonko once. Doflamingo literally never had the balls to fight a yonko and instead settled to being the King of a single Island. Bege Retired after one failed attempt at an assassination. Apoo lost his will and became Queen's bitch despite being a confident asshole Pre Timeskip. Hawkins lost his will from merely seeing Kaido and Kidd/Killer fight.
These are all Characters who gave up unlike Kidd
Kidd never lost his will and people deny Oda thinks highly of Kidd.
And we fans do know, it is Luffy piece, he won’t overpower Luffy. But having him around as rival is what our heart desires. And it looks damn well for that.
Cause deep down they know that Oda has big plans for Kidd, since back in chapter 498. Fucking 2010...
It's weird but sometimes I think they like the character more than us
Sicilian is the captain of the Musketeers, Pedro is the captain of the Guardians. Same role, same position, different boss.
On the pirate experience, is possible yeah but I still see more reasons to consider them equals tbh.
