If I had to make an parallel, then I'd say Kid is like Grimjow to Ichigo (Luffy) (but their power is closer than their Bleach version I guess).

New crew members like page one and ulti. Morj has a good theory on Kidd forming a supercrew after wano like rocks.

Yeah I've seen theories on them joining, and him beating Big Mom in front of them (if they wake up) is a good opportunity to earn their respect and join when it's all over.

Why waste of time? Last time we saw Luffy and Kaidou clashed equally. It is not as if Kaidou dominating Luffy before we shifted to inside the dome. Since tables have turned, Oda should've atleast shown final attack that put down Luffy.

Nah he won’t lose. Law will just join the fight. But no matter how many people join the fight, unless they are Luffy, Kidd is the main player against Big Mom. Kidd and Big Mom are the 2 conquerers of this fight.

On a serious note, imo Kaidou's CoC capacity outlast Luffy. Their attack power is very close since Luffy's AdCoC techs was able to close their gap, but apparently Luffy ran out of CoC pool unlike Kaidou who had so large of CoC pool.

So Luffy ran out of haki in mere 20+ minutes. Lol, same Luffy since Dressrosa. Dude haki reserves are lower than fodders.
