Rubber fruit has always been OP. We're just seeing now what happens when you combine it with top tier haki. It allows you to increase your speed, strength and power considerably. So Law's fruit for instance can be countered with haki. Logias and others like WB's too. The rubber fruit is different as it increases things that aren't going to interact with haki. It just augments physical stats to a large degree.

So with top tier haki the rubber fruit is probably best for 1v1 combat as you're going to be hitting way harder and faster than your opponent, if you're even close to being equal in base. With awakening it will be even more OP as he would be able to bounce against rubber increasing the power and speed of his attacks even more.

Maybe it being immune to electricity is important. Need it to run pluton without getting shocked to death or something idk

honestly all of this makes Blackbeard look like the true underdog of the story. He was the one who truly “gathered” everything he needed.

Joyboy couldnt fullfill whatever should be done, the kingdom back then fell and got deleted from History. Imu (or anchestor of him) won. Luffy is on his way to change exactly that, he will win. He will overcome Joyboy, like he overcomes Roger. Same story, just another high point.

Has a special power in the world, even more special than others (as we already seeing that the Gomu Gomu no Fruit was special by the WG and was being protected by CP9).

It's destined to save the world, and you can try to talk your way around it as much as you want, but Luffy is 100% destined to do what he is doing, he was born at the right time to meet Shirahoshi, Vivi, Momo, Robin and all the other ones NECESSARY to finish the journey and unravel the One Piece / Void Century / Defeat the WG.

Has a bunch of ass pull power ups that come out of nowhere with no build up. Gear 2nd, Gear 3rd, Future Sight, Advanced Conqueror's and there's gonna be another one by the end of this arc.

All the One Piece Fandom that hated on Naruto for these things are a bunch of clowns right now, Naruto trained and learned all of his fucking power ups, they were built up and shown before, with the only exception being the 6 paths power he got on the end and lost it forever right after.

Choppers df makes him a better fighter than Sanji

Yeah this is about Luffy rejecting prophecy. He's going to do it his own way. Even if shanks is trying to force him to be joyboy or whatever

The problem is that only Luffy could do it, because he had a bunch of things go right for him without he doing anything.

Like getting the special gomu gomu no mi.

Like being born at the same time as Shirahoshi, Vivi, Robin and Momo, people that are necessary to do it.

Everything is destined for Luffy to achieve what the "pirate jesus" Joy Boy couldn't.

And it's not his merit on all these things.

I'm not saying it's that bad, i'm just saying people need to stop thinking One Piece is free from these Naruto flaws that everyone hated, and destiny is 100% against Luffy's freedom.
