Zoro post TS knows what CoC is. We know that from Fishman Island

And that line is about lineage - blood of Dragon and Garp

luffy had already seen coc in this time (ray)

OMG who the hell cares if Ashura's is COC, or Advanced COC
If it's COC then it's a W for Zoro
If it's not COC then it's still a W for Zoro to be able to scar Kaidou with just normal COA
Either way, he still has COC. It's up-to-debate whether Ashura is COC or not, and I'm satisfied with both options.

It's fairly simple. We as a reader didn't know about Advanced COC up until chapter 1010. Luffy didn't know he can use stage 2 COA up until Old Man Flower Flower explains it to him. That same thing applies with Zoro. He knows COC, but Ashura MAY be a whole new level of COC that we didn't know about. If we didn't know about it, it's fair that ZOro didn't know.

Yeah. It may be COC, it may be something else.
Imo, it's a MUCH better feat that he's able to SCAR Kaidou with Normal COA. That means he can become stronger if he applies COC onto it. Zoro still has COC either way.
But I don't speak for all the Zoro fans here.

Could be. We will see. I just personally think Asura and Diable Jamble are different aspects of CoC
