Well, it’s pretty obvious to me given Killer and Zoro matchups that they’re weren’t/aren’t clear of YC territory.

The same thing might be true for Kidd and Law. How could 4 YC fighters put in that much work against two emperors if the gap is as big as the Kaido+BM one shots would have you believe?
What is hard to understand? You had 2 Top Tiers vs. 1 Top Tier and 4 High Tiers.

They aren´t, except Luffy nobody is clear of YC territory, and he is not full fledged top tier until G4 is not solved, because normally he can´t rely on gladiators or Zoro to carry him around.
What work did they put in?

Most feats on the rooftop were offensively, and the ones who actually had noteworthy results were Luffy, Zoro and Law due to his fruit.
Kid did nothing that Luffy did not do in chapter 923.

None of them took a physical hit from Big Mom, Kaidou landed Thunder Bagua on Law, and while he did not pass out, he was still out.
Zoro took a semi serious attack from BM and Kaidou for one second and despite blocking it with his swords and probably CoA barrier, he was out completely.

If you actually look at the feats and put them in context, the majority of stuff still works out consistently.

The only thing shaky is maybe Luffy passing out in 923 when he took a lot of hits on the rooftop, including CoC equipped club hits, and it did not do nearly as much as 923.
