Now he got magic Medicals and cheerleading Luffy, while getting beaten by a bird.

Kid was there to beat a Yonko, to get a RP and become pirate king. For him it doesn’t matter if the yonko is Shanks, Kaido or Big Mum. He has the goal, he doesn’t care for the person behind the title Yonko.

There is a reason Kidd doesn't fight Big Mom alone, but with Law.
It is so that Law can witness and relay the message to Luffy in act 5, that Big Mom has kidnapped Kidd.

Same reason why Luffy is fighting Kaido with yamato.
They will take over the main fight at some point while Yamato and law will fall behind.
