What I am about to say I think every one piece fan who reads will agree.
Yonkos are above admirals. I was of the view that it was by alot. But is not. However it's still a small margin.
Using the normal yonkos and admirals let me specify why the gap isn't big but at the same time explain why the yonkos are still above.
1. The yonkos are portrayed as being a force that needs to be taken down by multiple people while we can make the claim that the admirals will be 1v1 fights.
2. Admirals are haki masters and devil fruit masters. We know this based on an invisible haki barrier they were able to create in marine ford. Admirals aren't born freaks of nature but are more like soldiers that have honed their kraft while at the same time getting busted devil fruits.
Yonko on the other hand or literally born freaks of nature (except shanks) and thus have crazy power and thus also have insane amounts of haki (admirals have better haki control while yonko have better haki reserves). Yonkos also have good fruits but aren't inherently powerful unless the user him or herself is powerful. Which means theoretically admirals devil fruits off rip are more busted than a yonkos fruit.
3. Lastly we conclude with looking at the following:
Admirals have better haki control since they are a police unit and honed their haki skills while yonkos are naturally freaks that are strong and thus dont need to refine their haki game as much since they already have such high reserves of it... eg. Kaido does not have to be a coa specialist cuz he is already freakishly durable.

Admirals better devil fruit potency
Yonkos better devil fruit coverage while also having more natural AP that makes up for the lack of devil fruit potency in conparison

What if Law used Kroom to put a piece of metal inside big mom's stomach and Kid used his awakening to create a super magnet a couple feet away from her.
I feel like something like this could be a way that kid and law win. The only problem is that now that they've pulled awakening, big mom's probably going to go serious, meaning they won't have a big opening to do stuff like that anymore.

No but he currently has the best feats in the manga, he has best defensive feat and manga and shares the best offensive feat in manga with Oden.
No feat of damage output has surpassed giving Kaido a permanent massive scar and no feat of defense/tanking/blocking has surpassed blocking a country level blow from combined power of two emperors.
The only feat of damage output that would potentially surpassed scarring Kaido is really killing Kaido and I wonder who can pull that off.
