You also forgot the context that luffy literally has been using coc for the entire timeskip, and has been stated multiple times that coc is his specialty. The fact that he got knocked out twice by a fellow strong coc user and his ryuo training made him realize how he can do it on top of coc being his talent.

Zoro only got confirmed to be a coc user and learns how to use its advanced form in a span of 20-30 chapters. I don’t know how that’s more organic than a guy who’s been using coc for more than 500 chapters.

So King's durability is really unique. We know his pteranodon wings are incredibly durable and King credited his race for allowing him to defend against Tatsumaki. So it can't just be absorbing damage like King did this chapter, right? King's uniqueness must be some conscious durability boost and likely the ability to recover from damage with his fire.

Which could explain why Marco hurt King. His phoenix flames carry special properties over regular fire, seemingly dampening them.

It's most likely a vitality source thing it does seem.

please, zoro's sword are a boost, that comes with a drawback

Sanji's boost too, he's struggling to keep his emotions

And sanji is beyond vet level even before the boost, he knocked out perospero without using any power up

He uses it unconsciously, he never even did it’s basic form of knocking people out. Even with kaido, he said he didn’t know wtf kaido was talking about. Luffy clearly knows how coc works while zoro never did, and was fighting multiple coc users. His coc got stronger because he overcomes fellow conquerors while zoro only fought scrubs before king.
