Oh I understand, but fucking nonsense. Luffy already lost 4 times, and still no where close to defeating Kaidou out. The so called tension is all about killing people right? People were injured enough though. At the end of the day, Luffy wins. This is everyone knows. So tensionless right? Because we know what is going to happen.

is a pretty damning argument when talking about tension

Doubt. It'll probably end by the middle to end of 105. Oda usually dedicates like 8-10 chapters of post-arc related closure. Unless the fight ends like next chapter, I don't see it ending in 104. Plus it normally involves other things putside of the arc, so its usually a good thing

The difference with Game of Thrones was death and consequences were a grand expectation of the story overall. One Piece does NOT have that expectation and never has lmao. It's your fault for expecting the shit you want, which you don't get.

One Piece hasn't told you to expect death and tension. You want it and you aren't getting it. There's a difference. Read a different manga if that's what you want

People like to act like Katakuri's Merienda wasn't a fucking thing before the fight got completely serious again.

The last punch Luffy throws at Kaido this chapter is not funny. The picture is leaked, it looks brutal as fuck. Somehow he's punching through his face before his face catches up to it. It's weird.
