I'll be very surprised if he isn't. I've seen influences of Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin and Little Mermaid (specifically Ursula too) with WCI arc and Big Mom alone.

Japan often gets referred to as having "Peter Pan Syndrome" or "Arrested Development" or being "manchildren", kids in adult bodies or so, young at heart and thus anime and even One Piece too.

Stuff like Disney is completely up Oda's alley, especially the classic animation they used to do, the early Rubber Hose type stuff from the 40s onwards or whatever.

He has mentioned being massively influenced and fan of Vicky the Viking and I'm certain he's a fan of Popeye and maybe Asterix and Obelix and Tintin too? Horikoshi of MHA has to be a Tintin fan at least given Mirio hahaha.

Oda will do replica of MF. Sabo captured and set for execution. Luffy will face Admirals and end up facing Akainu alone. They'll fight and Sabo might take over and finish an already weakened Akainu. Best case scenario for yanker bros.

I think you'll come to find that that always seems to be the case on this site:

- People harassing Lance to release early spoilers
- People then act like rabbid animals when initial spoilers with little context released and it does not fit their weekly hopes and dreams.
- Then people create a mob mentality on how they should feel about a chapter based on 5 lines
- Then you have the ~10 or so people here who take this shit so personal that they are offended at the audacity Oda has to draw his MC and the villain the way he wants
- Then full summary usually comes out and "most" normal people scale down verbal assaults on the chapter
- Then LQ/HQ raws release and people go "well shit, that wasn't half bad!"
- Then those 10 people having an unjustified aneurysm over spoilers are just completely MIA or make minimal comments after this point.

Every. Single. Week.

Not poking fun at you specifically, but this is the kind of shit WG excels at. Powerscalers, ZKKers, Luffy/Zoro/Sanji stans (at different points), etc all judging a spoiler they frankly don't get lmao.

This is why I find this shit hilarious. Because the tone seems to change in 2 days every single time. It's like an ongoing cycle of the same shit thst never ends

I just started reading weekly causally from chap 974 and through this site from 1001.
For every chap from 1011-1031 I felt it was so shit through initail spoilers but then full summary and raw scan made me feel it was not even half of what I was freaking out.
Then i understood its unecessary to complain or fret over inital spoilers wait for full summ or raw:cheers::cheers:
