Lol....what? Luffy dying at the cost of his fruit killing him by propelling him to top of the world in the span of 2 years is actually pretty fucking excellent imo.

It would be an emotional close to the series as goals are all full achieved and his crew carries on his name. This series is BUILT on that idea, considering every single fucking major character in this series has lost someone who they strive to live for and continue to tell their story.
