Luffys fruit is sounding like the first hybrid fruit potentially, we've seen glimpses of the possibility with some other fruits later too. Whether its been manipulated by Vegapunk to be this way or someone in the past before or its actually like this anyway is insane. It kinda reminds me of a joke I saw of Kaidos awakening turning the ground into dragons lmfao.
I bet Luffys DF was also vital in their attempted gigantication experiments, especially since it can "stretch your body" and thus "your lineage factor/DNA" too or something like that.
I've suspected Vegapunk might even be located at Elbaf, well having a lab there or something so this could go full circle very potentially. We've yet to see giants with DFs canonically and Elbaf is gonna be major for the lore and world building somehow for sure. Also if its gonna be a Shanks arc or not and thus how absolutely game changing that will be naturally too.

Luffy new fruit (yes I call it a new fruit) is the worst ass pull I've seen in all one piece. It is crazily OP. His only limit is his imagination, so he could theoretically have the same powers as logia users, he just have to imagine it. He could have the power to create ice, he just have to imagine it. He could have tge power to change the weather, he just have to imagine it... He is overcheated right now.
