My stance hasn't changed. If Kaido awakens i don't want Luffy to beat him at all. Better have Kaido go down with his 1v1 legend instead of giving Luffy an asspull W.

We need to see awakend Kaido
I would rather see Kaido Glory ,than knowing he probably had awakening and didn't youse it this would be an asspull
Because then we can argue how luffy defeated this legendary man in a 1v1 and if it was derserved like back then people debated about luffy vs katakuri
Either way luffy wins its a shonen ,but Kaido will go down as a legend with the feats that man has done only in one arc .

He enjoy the fight and clearly know the power of awakening.

Kaido awakening will be special, firsttime we just not see his awakening,but we will see a Yonkou going totally all out, which neither happen to Whitebeard(old and sick) or BM(got throw away of the island before she used awakening).

I feel like Oda really saved everything until this point to highlight Luffy and Kaido awakening. Im pretty sure Luffy will show even far superior attacks.

Luffy's Zoan fruit works similar to a paramecia. Perhaps that's why he's not taken over like those awwakened zoans in Imped Down.

Or to go deeper into the rabbit hole, maybe Luffy's soul itself is the reincarnation of Nika that's why he's not taken over by him because technically he's the same person.
