BM can still show insane stuff in Ebaf. Kaido role in the story ends at Wano so Oda is having him go all out

Oda is preparing Luffy to face Akainu.

If Luffy can fight and clash with fire dragon Kaido he can fight and clash with magma cover Akainu.

To give minor credit to mom she was stuck in a 2v1 where law constantly jumped her from behind every time she moved her focus to kid, and if the bombs weren’t a factor she would’ve been able to continue.

Still Kaido is built different.

Yeah, it's the climax of the narrative/battle for sure.

My guess is 1049 is super dramatic (a possible Kaido flashback/him realizing who Luffy is, Wano citizens staring at the sky) and finishes their clash with either these attacks or 1 more move each.

Big Mom will always be seen as the worst Yonko due to her position in that she has to go against Kaido, Shanks and Blackbeard. I don’t think Oda can ever make her as hype again as he can the others just due to the nature of those other characters

- Momonosuke keeps pushing Onigashima to avoid Luffy's attack.
- The scene changes to the interior of the castle.
- There the samurai want Kaidou to be defeated.
- Kawamatsu remembers what happened after Oden's execution 20 years ago. A flashback begins.
- Kaido finds out that Oden has a son.
- Kaido goes for Momonosuke and eliminates all the townspeople who stand before him.
- We see how Oden's castle has burned down.

- The Wanokuni Daimyo band together to fight Kaidou and Orochi.
- We see a vignette of each Daimyo, they are Tonoyasu and the 3 samurai that Yamato met in the cave (including Shimotsuki Ushimaru).
- They are all defeated.
- They start enslaving people and the country falls apart.

- Back to the present, Orochi is still on fire.
- He tries to take Komurasaki with him.
- Denjiro arrives and cuts off Orochi's head.
- We see that the wishes of the people are already flying through the sky.
- "May Orochi disappear" or "I want to escape from this hell" are some of them.

So for what I gather Kaido used the flame clouds to get into this mode right?

So that means that surely Momo finally created his own clouds thus putting an end to that whole ordeal.

Turns out that Zoro has yet another parallel with Kaido, the previous chapter was Yamantaka and Yama being enemies. I still remember when Lanji was the one that was going to destroy the other horn!
