No but this arc is clearly building up Zoro especially acts 1 and 2. He’s never developed a relationship to the people of a country like he has done in Wano. Zoro as a leader of the Samurai is something Oda has been building up but I don’t think we will see the pay off until Act 4 or Final War

Tbh Bigger Mom vs Base Kaido looks like an even fight.

It isn't when Base kaido couldn't overpower nor beat base BM
BM forced him into alliance

In fact flaming dragon is useless vs BM 1v1
Kaido needs drunk hybrid form to win.
Using elementary powers against BM doesn't add much in 1v1

Looks like Oda is trying to make the Admirals showdown unseen
It makes Zoro dodge fast attacks like lasers or cut magma
Sanji resists the saber and a blue flame surely able to compete with the magma (I don't really know about it)
At this point any member of the monster trio could face any admiral.
Even if we don't know Ryokugyu yet
