Unless Luffy knocks Kaido out. Then he recovers a short time thanks to his DF power or awakening. Kaido is pissed he lost everything so he goes on a rampage and start destroying Wano. Luffy is too tired to face Kaido again so Zoro steps in to fight and kill Kaido.
Luffy in that scenario can still receive his win against Kaido. The manga already declare Kaido the winner between him and Luffy.

What. Luffy has to beat Kaido in his most powerful form. That’s literally what happens in every single arc. ZKK can only happen after that happens.
If Kaido were to awaken then Luffy has to beat Kaido again before ZKK could theoretically happen. That’s how it’s been in every arc
