Momo moving Onigashima seems a pretty fucking big detail for the spoiler providers to miss out on but after "Kaido falls into lava and Big Mom is there too" I'll believe anything tbh
I mean next chapter or something Lmao but yeh

Onigashima is in danger and the lava stuff. Seems like some more Oda wank to Oden and him holding it up in his flashback

I'm honestly fine with that as long as Oda gives it some proper artistic attention (maybe referencing the double spread of Oden holding up the Red Scabbards in the pot)

All these ppl are getting way too jacked up over the narration box btw

The same narrator announced Kaido's victory

in Enies Lobby, all victories were announced by Narrator but Luffy's fight victory was announced by a random marine.

Luffy's win against Katakuri was announced by Brulee
Luffy's win against Doffy was announced by the colosseum guy,
Luffy's win against Lucci was announced by a marine
Luffy's win against Enel loss was announced by a bell.
We also saw the Strawhats/citizens usually witnessing Luffy's victory in some way in each arc too.
Katakuri's defeat was signaled by whoever came out of the Big Mirror.
Doflamingo's defeat is signaled by Bird Cage disappearing
Lucci's defeat I guess was seen by the Strawhats. Not only that but Aokiji declared the Strawhats' victory when they fully escape the Buster Call ending in Marine's complete defeat
Enel's defeat is seen when his Raigou is destroyed and Luffy makes it sunny. Luffy ringing the bell accomplished the dreams of the Sky Peians and Jayans. Also, Noland's ancestor seeing Luffy's huge shadow.

I don't think Luffy vs Kaido has the same gravitas.
If Luffy defeats Kaido, Onigashima falls. Onigashima doesn't fall and everyone is still alive.
Kaido being fully defeated means his flame clouds dissipate on their own. Raizo's water scroll actually dissipates it.
None of the citizens of Wano have any indication to know Kaido is defeated and it's been emphasized that until kaido's head is taken that he won't be defeated. Even Luffy says that he was going to kick Kaido off of Wano prior to Gear 5 but Kaido is still in Wano.
Too many false flags for Kaido's full defeat.

Bullshit. Doffy was well aware that Kuzan was right behind him.
There was no sneak attack.
Kuzan negs Doffy's ass, he was generous enough to not do so as to not attract attention and fuck up his undercover plan with Blackbeard.

Lmfao Doffy shat himself when Law told him he should resign from his warlord position at first, he only got cocky when he managed to bribe the WG into helping him out so that no Admiral could come for his ass.
Little Tanjiahdo literally had a panic attack at the idea of having to quit the shichinukai after Oda said admirals would come for his ass:vistalaugh:

"Huff.. Huff... " Tf is he even huffing for? :vistalaugh:

Didn't law say it was the logical choice for Doflamingo to quit the warlords and give up his kingdom rather than piss off Kaido?

Could it not be that that attack was far stronger than he expected, since Luffy hadn't used it before, it was the size of an ISLAND, etc. Kaido can be confident about Luffy's general arsenal but it shouldnt mean we should take his statement verbatim for an attack he's never seen or been hit by before.

"Absolutely no reason to assume you can flow ryuo on a sword but not over your body" this is what's called an argument from ignorance. Just because you don't see any evidence that contradicts something, does not mean it is the case. Since you are asserting this is a viable method of defense, you have to put forth evidence for your claim.
It wasn't the attack, it was the fact that no matter how powerful Luffy was Kaidou was just going to try to straight up melt his arm if it wasn't defended with ryuo. Luffy explained that ryuo would prevent Kaidou's attempt to do so.

I already mentioned the evidence that you can harden your head. Ryuo is just another level of applying armament haki, you can apply armament haki on your head. Calling to logical fallacies like an internet pseudointellectual makes you look like a bit of a moron when you not only ignore the manga but the post you reply to.

Kaido's whole shtick is about strength determining everything. How is Luffy going to prove the samurai are strong if it's just Luffy being the one to ultimately defeat Kaido? Kaido literally shittalks the samurai for being weak and given up. How is this resolved if the samurai simply accept their death by Luffy. Luffy himself said the samurai are strong, but that fact has yet to be proven this arc. Why is it important for Luffy to be the sole one to defeat Kaido? All it does is prove Kaido's point that the strongest decide the rules.
"Why is it important for Luffy to be the sole one to defeat Kaidou"...are you really asking this?

Zoro and everyone relevant have gotten their 1v1 definitive win against their respective opponent. Luffy has none yet. So Kaidou it is.

And btw Kaidou wants to be PK. So it's a PK clash. You know that a certain boy named Luffy also want to be PK right? And he also promises to surpass Kaidou in order to be able to being the one worthy of being PK right?
