At least Zoro vs King is a cool fight in terms of design

i think Toei is gonna have a blast with that fight

but it lacked weight and meaning behind the fight

Tho when it comes to the anime i imagine they'd elevate all the fights so much that theyd all be comparable hype wise. Manga wise zoro vs king had some of the better moments of the arc

Honestly tho with how much i was exited for zoro in wano i definitely overhyped myself lol
Like i was expecting tashigi (developing their relationship and just sword lore), more kuina flashbacks (like if she was actually killed), cool samurai fights (almost happened with kyoshiro lol), an extremely strong swordwomen (low key was hoping somehow king was one for too long even tho i knew it wasn't gonna happen lol), and just wci sanji level focus

Speaking of sanji i remember really wanting him to have a whole north blue plot line with the other north blue supernova. I used to be really hype about him vs drake too with the whole secret agent marine shit. Shit coulda been like James bond
Tho i can't really complain about sanji cause man surprisingly got a ton this arc and was a low key MVP somehow lol


It does make me nervous for usopp in elbaf tho. Cause imo that's even more hype and anticipated than wci for sanji and wano for zoro
