I was off by 500m with Luffy's bounty. Imagine thinking he was gna get WB's bounty before fighting BB, Gorosei, WG and Imu. I swr some of you can't read for shit

Luffy always gets a higher bounty than who he defeats

Arlong, Crocodile, Gecko Moria, Doflamingo, Katakuri

so people thought Luffy was gonna get a higher bounty than Kaido, 4.6 b, after all he defeated Kaido

but this time the WG considered the defeat of Kaido and Big Mom an equal effort by the 3 (Luffy, Law and Kid)

so he added Big Mom's and Kaido's bounty, and divided it by 3

The biggest piece of information people are missing is that this confirms that Luffy will receive his 5.6 bounty just before fighting the WG, not now.

Which probably means Laugh Tale is after the Final War with the WG, when bounties don't mean anything.

Maybe the trio really get exactly 3 billion with the two Emperors defeat, and as others pointed out it would surpass Kaido's + BM's total combined bounties by a bit
