Good, then you know it's bs.

Denjiro came in from nowhere and saved Hiyori by killing Orochi in an instant.

He then hugged her.
I don't really get how that's stopping her from just stopping the hugs and walking up to burning Orochi?

btw, this is the last scene we saw them and we see it's foreshadowing for this

Here in this manufactured flashback, Orochi is still alive (albeit burning) when Denjiro and Hiyori are standing there and Hiyori supposedly says the words.
I don't see the problem of Orochi's head being alive for short while to speak

You know a chapter is utter shite when the memes are the best part of it. :gokulaugh:

Earlier this week, CSM just gave us one of its 3 or 5 best chapters ever in a very young arc. Lolda had 10+ years to work on Wano and we got this load of Shit Piece. :suresure:

Don't you mean down there? :vistalaugh:

Also, was that the "This is Otama!" chapter?

What I don't get: There was so much questionable writing this arc, but THIS is the thing that finally gets homers to bitch about the writing?

Lmao, it's literally one of the least problematic scenes in terms of storywriting this arc.

In fact it was obvious for years that Oda would use the Kurozumi/charcoal pun to give the famous Oden line kind a twist.

But I guess you can get away with any bullshit you want these days, but oh lord, if someone imagines to smell a fart that could hint at discrimination, it's pandemonium.

As someone who read every single WCI chapter on a weekly basis just like any other ch, this chapter was so bad that I couldn't read it.
Act 3 truly ended up as a complete tragedy. This should be studied as an example of how not to write. Just wow.
Forget about convincing others, Oda's angels will have their hands full trying to convince themselves that this was peak fiction.

With Wano finally over, gotta say it was a great arc. Some problems here or there, but overall was epic in its highs. Luffy shined like always. Zoro and Nami had epic character moments, the best moments in the crew of anyone outside Luffy, like they typically do (Original Trio for the win). The Captain trio were great, and a lot of people look like clowns for trying to say Law wasn't Luffy's rival or that Zoro was stronger than him, both of which got stomped to dust multiple times throughout the arc (Law is clearly portrayed as the WB to Luffy's Roger). Kaido and Big Mom were great, as were the fights against Luffy and Law/Kid, respectively. Marco coming back was excellent. The historical portion of Wano was excellent, as were the themes.

From this chapter specifically, the highlights were Luffy giving Momo the flag, Momo's development, and the competition between the Captain's which was hilarious.

As for Yamato, pretty clear that Yamato is joining later like Jinbe. She wants to sail but wants to explore first. Has an invitation from Luffy, and has no responsibility to Wano like Momo or Kin’emon. Has a major connection to Ace with Blackbeard's arc looming. She'll be back.

Also, a lot of people on the internet showing how stupid they are with the Hiyori/genocide/Nazi comments that were taken out of context to begin with. Not even really worth getting into how it was a play, nor a play on Oden’s words, nor the sheer admission of not knowing what a genocide is, but whatever.

All in all, Wano had its issues but those were overwhelmingly surpassed by how good it was. Can't wait to see what's next.

Immediate Thoughts: BLEGHHHHHHHHHHH
2/5, hopefully will be be better when read in volume format.

-Lucky Roo was about to knock out a baby. No wonder he's not popular with the ladies, and Uta has some mental issues, SHEEESH
-Caesar is smart here: he knows Judge's tech. Caesar realizes that Reiju can negate the poison gas for the Germa, while Oven and Katakuri can't, and Katakuri can't dodge it easily using Future Sight while engaged in direct combat. Caesar is a giant asshole, but he does use his Fruit well when he decides to take fights seriously.

-The fact that no one gives a shit about the Scabbards staying behind but people are upset about Yamato says a lot
-Even Momo doesn't understand whatever the fuck Yamato is talking about
-Looks like Momo is faster running than flying. Dragon dragster, alright, I see you, Momo
-Yamato's father was a violent child-enslaving war-monger, and even she thinks the Samurai are nuts, oi. Well, Yamato's nuts, too, so...

-Someone needs to explain to poor little Chopper that Law is a massive tsundere
-Oden was born to boil, Toki was born to time travel, Hiyori as born to... "cleanse"... and Momo was born to cry, apparently
-Shanks attacking Barto, while Wano gets Luffy's flag? Yeah, all of Luffy's territory is about to be attacked (including Fishman Island)
-The panel with Luffy in front of the Sunny is awesome/important. The sides of the ship represent Wano's borders, the mast represents Mt. Fuji, and Luffy is Joy Boy in the middle, the man who held the country up

-Oda offscreened Yamato's actual farewell scene with the Straw Hats where she talks to Luffy about her dreams and gave us this. This is why we drink, Oda. Why you make us feel like Kaido?

-Kid, Luffy, Law, and their faces going off the waterfall is BY FAR the best part of this chapter

-Great to see Wano celebrate the persecution of the clan that created this whole mess. Ugh.
-Orochi's will is meaningful. His hatred has not died. Zombie Orochi coming? (shivers)
-WTF, WHERE IS RAIZO'S SEXY GLOW UP?!? GREEN BULL, YOU SEXIST FUCK, MAKE RAIZO SEXY, TOO, GREEN BULL, YOU FUCKING BITCH. WORST ADMIRAL, BY FAR, COULDN'T EVEN MAKE RAIZO SEXY

-Final Curtain? No, "End of Act 3?" UGH, here we go again.
-Pretty clear they're going to put the flag on the Flower Capital
-Short break? CROSS GUILD?!?!? IS IT TIME FOR CROSS GUILD?!?!?

FUCK WANO GIVE ME CROSS GUILD BABY!!!!
