This entire chapter proves how all pirates are fraud, from the very beginning.
The only question is, whether Akainu will play the role of Archangel Michael and fight Dragon, or ally with Luffy ala Vegeta and depose Imu. His powerset lends credibility to Michael, but we’ll see.

Oh well, we’re going the Kaguya route, huh? It’s partly disappointing, but Oda never showed much brillante and wit, an overpowered villain able to manipulate everyone, with their introduction destroying the foundations of the story is a stable on JRPGs, especially if they have Christian imagery, and with Akainu resembling Michael, and the introduction of the Seraphim, it pretty much seals the deal.
