but it's not revenge. Lucci is the opposite of Luffy, he's fine with taking orders. he didn't like spandam but still obeyed him, to the point where he doesn't kill chimney because he didn't get the order to do it. from his perspective he did his job, and the one who failed was spandam, who had authority over cp9.
Just because Lucci doesn't mind taking orders, it doesn't mean he's ok with betrayal, being labelled a traitor, and given a green light to be executed....

When he told Spandam he was coming for him, that was strictly for revenge. Not just so he could come be his boss.

If the world government has to many people that can contest a Yonko than it upsets the balance.
Pretty sure the second Cp0 realizes that the SH's are on the island, they will tuck tail and run back.
Bowler hat knew better than to get involved in a Yonko fight. Gorosei were aware they were sending him in to die. He didn't even try to fight back. I doubt Lucci and Kaku will be any different.

That’s what should happen but Oda will pull some bs

Honestly, how can we be so sure that Lucci and Kaku are completely loyal to CP-0 and the WG, and don't have some kind of hidden agenda?

Remember, these guys were apart of the most skilled infiltration and assassination division of Cipher Pol.... After the events of Enies Lobby, the WG, dubbed them as traitors, and tried to eliminate them.

Nobody finds it the least bit suspicious that they would just so easily return to the World Government, after they tried to have them killed?

I wouldn't be surprised if Oda has different plans in store for Lucci and Kaku being here on this Island, than most fans believe. Oda is not in the business of recycling old villains, to be fought again.

So Imma call it now, and say Lucci and Kaku are only on Egghead Island under the guise of being there to eliminate Vegapunk, but they have something else planned up their sleeve.

Hell I might even go as far as to say that the only reason they came back to the World Government, is because they needed to get close to Vegapunk for some reason, and this was the best way to do so.

I could be completely wrong, but this is the best course of action Oda can take, because as it stands right now, it is kind of nonsensical that they are back with the WG, after they tried to kill them.
I agree. I fully expect Lucci and Kaku, and Seraphim Kuma, to betray each other, and the WG.

Lucci and Kaku have so many groups where their skills would be appreciated more, and they'd have more freedom than the WG. And I think Seraphim Kuma has the original Kuma's brains, and that we'll get a switcheroo with the Kumas. Too many Kumas, man, too many Kumas.

I think more so than emotional rollercoaster, it would be a tragic death.
Depends on whether or not Bonney can affect the age of Seraphim.

Baby Seraphim Kuma could be coming up in this manga.
