It will be similar to Ace vs BB; Teach nullifies Law's DF but the latter still puts up a good fight since Law doesn't solely rely on his DF. He made sure that his Haki got improved a lot after seeing what Kaido and Big Mom were capable of. But ultimately, BB still defeats him.

I'd say Law will push him mid to high diff.

But genuinely, I have a feeling in my gut that he is only gonna be a problem thanks to power canceling and hax.

He might not be that powerful…

If he defeats Shanks who's a CoC specialised Swordman aka a bad matchup then he's above even Roger and Primebeard.

He doesn't have to be top 1 to give a good fight to luffy, infact he doesn't even have to be stronger than kaido. He can nullify luffy's df and force him to rely on haki alone to counter his gura gura, if he gets a good zoan by eos it will be even harder for luffy

Base Luffy is arguably stronger than Law right now.

Law's hax are pretty insane, that's what an elite awakened paramecia can do imagine awakened logias. He'll have a tougher time landing them.
But Law will for sure land an awakened attack, maybe not puncture wille, it will make Teach scream of pain but he will endure it just like he always does. This fight is pretty much scripted, high diff is pretty generous considering the potential power Blackbeard can release with gura, which he probably won't as that is reserved for Shanks/Luffy. Mid diff at best even if Teach struggles with pinpointing him.
