If you never liked his role how do you still like Zoro?

Isn't that a pretty big part of his character? Or do you separate the 2?

It has to be the fact that I don't read this series forever. I started around Marineford. But I wasn't so keen on following it weekly.

Prior to Covid I could skip months of chapters because I didn't care or had better things to do in my free time. When we all got locked out I dove deeper into this shit and even registered here.


I can say my experience with OP is kinda fresh and pre ts didnt happen that long ago from my perspective if that makes sense.

In pre ts Zoro was enjoyable. Post ts was slow downfall of his character who was turned into a cock sucker for his Captain who gets a few cool moments here and there.

Crossed lines? Bruh, blame the providers for not saying shit earlier if everything is fake. People post dumb shit in the spoiler thread all the time and it usually gets deleted within minutes.

I definitely think Zoro could've been an aspiring bounty hunter and top swordsman

Would've added another layer to his character

Maybe he's trying to make money for his village (or something else) while also on a journey to become the WSS

Honestly makes more sense since he'd have a much better parallel with Mihawk. He'd ACTUALLY hunt Pirates just like Mihawk used to hunt Marines

I still think he's almost perfect for the RHM OR Captain role but that's just my opinion

Zoros character has suffered way too greatly cause of Oda. Like Zoros character used to be much better but now it’s either:
1. Hyper loyalty to Luffy
2. “I’m the serious one.”

And like it’s down right annoying that that’s all we got. Zoros character was best in wano when luffy wasn’t near him.
