Lucci and Kaido are very different fighters.

Kaido wants to die in combat and have a glorious death that completes him.

Lucci wants to murder people for fun to satisfy his bloodlust.

Kaido openly allows characters like the Scabbards and Supernovas chances to attack him, BECAUSE HE WANTS TO DIE.

Lucci has no interest in giving enemies free hits.

Kaido wanted Luffy to beat and kill him.

Lucci wants to kill (or at least defeat) Luffy.

Completely different fights.

There isn't really a basis for saying that the act of using the awakened form is already "vastly superior" to base Luffy even without using the properties his awakening is even designed for in the first place. It's different for Lucci, since his awakenings main function is to boost his stats, which is not the case for Luffy. So awakened Luffy equally clashing with awakened Lucci, when Lucci benefits from stat boost much more than Luffy, isn't a bad thing.

You say he’s equally clashing, but the first punch that Luffy threw at him made him cough up blood (I think that’s what it is?) and - *checks raws* - dealt some damage. You don’t just cough up blood without being affected by something.

That obviously wasn’t Luffy’s finishing move since we haven’t reached the climax of the fight yet and the typical “final blow that sends character flying or knocks them out”.

Sentomaru approached Luffy shortly after he did that, so the fight will presumably continue next chapter.

The battle isn’t over yet, and we probably won’t find out for… two weeks.

Since this is the Luffy show, I am assuming that Luffy will fight Kizaru. I really want Zoro to fight him because it will give him something to do this arc.

Zoro isn't fighting any Admiral before he beats Shiryu.

And Luffy is already facing Lucci, so I guess Kizaru will have something to do with the Kuma + Vegapunk + Seraphim plotlines.

Since you are the most intellectually honest user in the forum what do you think. Did Luffy use conquerors?

His crew wanted to see Luffy and were asking Shanks to do so as well.
It very well does seem like he didnt come to Wano because of Greenbull or to see Luffy.
Given that he gave Marco a ride back, thats the obvious explanation.
