People are really overestimating Lucci because he doesn't get one shot by Gear 5.
Do you all forget, during Kaido fight, it is obvious main upgrade of G5 compared to previous gears is G5's ridiculous ability and endurance, not AP.
Previous gears Luffy who got beaten to pulp by Kaido, suddenly not really affected anymore by Kaido's attack. Unless G5 does the same finishing blow he did to Kaido, its AP is not big different than to G4.
And we already see Cracker, Katakuri, post GK Doffy survived G4. Neither of them were one shotted by G4.
We already see Law surviving named attack from Yonko Kaido.
We already see Jinbe and Ulti surviving named attack from Yonko Big Mom.
We already see Law and Kidd surviving named attack from Yonko Big Mom.
Well we even see Zoro surviving combined attack from 2 Yonkos.
So Lucci surviving G5 not really a new big deal. Just shows Nika is not as powerful as people wish.
He doesn't really suddenly jump to above YC2, let alone YC1 because he survived 1 attack from G5. Veteran Ulti already did that before it was cool.
