Interesting seeing that we don't know how long kidd lost his arm. Infact it seems as though it wasn't to long ago since he lost it. So that would be catergorized as him losing it post timeskip as opposed to pretimeskip

Post TS he already build an alliance, it was the first what we have seen from him directly after TS. Which must been after him losing an arm, since it seemed the pirates sticked together since then and met Kaido, which resulted in wano plot. Which means it can’t (!) after Timeskip. It must have happened somewhere between the Archipel and end of Timeskip.

The crew captured him, he's in their custody, that still doesn't imply Teach had to life a finger. Why would he when Vasco Shot is fully capable of kidnapping despite the fact that he's surrounded by a marine fleet
