At this point talking about AP make no sense when you got some many type of attacks with differnt types of AP .
The Attack luffy did on Kaido is a island destroying attack that had so much force it broke his horn and hit him through 1000 feet of earth .
Law has strong AP but a differnt kind just like how Akainu have very strong AP but also differnt kind etc etc etc

Luffy Advanced CoC + Advanced CoA Internal destruction means luffy got top 2 strongest attack potency only behind Shanks.

His Advanced haki gives him extreme attack potency.

This is why hybrid kaido was dodging base Luffy before he got advnaced coc in chapter 1009


Luffy has both extreme attack potency when hsing advanced haki and attack power due to his physical force exertation.

Law attack potency higher then luffy himself. How on earth he top 2 lmao?? His ACoA legitimately trash compared to Law internal abilities. Like trash trash, CoC helps significantly. But the only attack he has even post G5, I’d put over Law awakening BG.

Hell his G4 struggling with help, against the kid seraphim. Law can neg lunarina defense with base amputee slashes. The difference in Attack potency noticeably. Luffy might be top 10, nowhere near 2 tho, an without question below Law.

I really don't see the difference in lethality , this OP so no one going died from luffy attacks or some other people attacks which by all rights should kill people .
This is series where people can take attacks that can destroy mountain but flintlock guns have more lethality than those attacks lol .

The kaido fight showed what you are stating is headcanon.

Kaido was actively dodging Luffy and blocking internal destruction blows from base luffy.

We saw law use his devil fruit on kaido and he did not do the danage luffy did before unlocking ACoC.

And Luffy used Gear 4 and Gear 5 with basic haki.
