People sometimes shut their brains off in this forum. Shiryu is a potential end-game opponent for Zoro, there is no way he will be a bum.

To play devil's advocate, Shiryu's attacks looked like ass against Moriah, but that chapter wasnt meant to show Shiryu's power, it was meant to show that Shiryu got a devil fruit and became stronger.

it's honestly impressive how quickly people forgot that Shiryu was a Magellan leveled threat without his devil fruit.

To add to your point about Shiryu and Moria, it seems like Shiryu aimed his attack at Moria's zombies
