Here the same thing happened to Wb and Garp...Also, his hit damage Logia, which clearly confirms that he uses haki, especially advcoc
He cut the sky in half with Shanks
Wb performed better than Garp after being hit by the sword
Aokiji's fist just gave Garp a normal headche and he fell to the ground half dead... While Wb lost half of his head, he was able to hit a shichibukai again
And.......
Luffy and bb are probably the only people in the new generation who can surpass him

Your physicality affects your ability to draw out haki. It's why when luffy was overly fatigued he had to rest up to use it.

It's why when katakuri wasn't focused he could not utilize future sight for a brief moment.

It's why when a person is heavily damage they cannot out put as much haki as they would healthy because haki (especially a shit ton of it) puts further strain on the body
