Shiryu and Avalo Pizarro seem like good fights for Zoro and Sanji

Zoro's weakest part of his arsenal right now is his mobility and observation Haki, so fighting a dude that can turn invisible and fights you from the shadows like scum, makes sense. Shiryu won't be giving Zoro the straight forward fights he usually expects.

Sanji's weakest part of his arsenal is a lack of big attack power AoE attacks, so fighting a huge island enemy also seems like a good choice.

Both will have to level up during those fights to reach their peak.

I can see Zoro developing a special type of Observation, like hearing things the way he did in Arabasta, to hear Shiryu coming. Which will increase his observation skills going forward.

I can see Sanji increasing his overall power to deal with the giant island enemy, but at the end of the day i think he will increase the range of his observation and even FS, to discover Pizarro's location and maybe go after with a really fast and pinpointed attack.

Those seem like good powerups for them.

Leaving Zoro's Black Blade feat for fighting Mihawk.

Yeah we know Blackbeard can eliminate devil fruit powers so luffy will have to fight in base for the majority of it.

Shiryu can not only become invisible but make things he touches invisible. So I can see him disarming Zoro like king did but with his fruit he’d make Zoros swords invisible and Zoro would have to fight without them.

Lafitte has Hypnosis powers. It would be very easy to make Sanji see himself in a room surrounded by woman making even Lafitte look like a woman and all of them attack Sanji so not only can Sanji not fight back but it’ll be hard to know exactly which woman it is that’s hitting him
If we each straw hat gets matched against a BBP pirate that has a troublesome ability against their own ability we could easily figure out the match ups.I was thinking about Chopper vs disease guy,but that would be actually easy for Chopper since he is a doc.

Burgess would be a match for Jinbe since he has a DF that makes his raw strength OP.

I think that’s only for the monster trio. Oda usually trios their opponents to a theme.

The rest will probably just be random matchups like in wano and Ennies Lobby.
