A little to extreme for me lol.

Like I said, imho Benn should be more then capable to beat King and Shanks surely is able to fight with Kaido until Benn shows up.

But it's not like I have any good feelings for Shanks. In fact, I am just waiting for BB to kill him and his crew.

Now I think it was mutual understanding and that's why they agreed.
Either everyone dies or gets heavily injured or they leave to their respective homes.

Do the math, I'm not even counting the attacks both received. Kaido far surpasses Luffy in terms of endurance.

The fact that despite gear 5 PU, kaido still gave luffy an extreme diff fight and oda had to resort to his usual big punch finishing blow says enough
