It's not that I think Lucci's weak. It's just that Zoro should get someone much stronger and different for an opponent after beating someone like King—a superior Zoan fighter. This is just repetitive. It's like his PH or Dressrosssa match ups by the current Zoro's standards. Let's see how it'll turn out.

NGL Oda keeps proving that Zoro is a difficult character for him to use .
Character wise he should be at least dancing close to low-mid top tiers if he wants to reach Mihawk level by EoS.

Having a crazy jump later would not be satisfying.

Lowkey might be right, Oda protects Luffy's main antagonists a lot. So there's a chance it's only brief.

That's why this is such a big deal to me, if Oda actually feeds someone like Lucci to Zoro.
