As I said, Gear 5 involves both conqueror's and armament haki so you can't say which haki is responsible for the black lightning, this is a particular case.

It could be simply armament haki that is depicted in these.

The problem Is: not only Kaido said G5 was using CoC, but there isn't a single scene in which you can see the "trail" or the no touching (bar the Bajarang gun, but it's mostly Luffy saying about it more then seeing it).

All G5 attacks connected and all of them did not have trail as we saw back in 1010 with a weaker CoC.

Oda is just that inconsistent lol.

Why do people directly jump to future sight when they see that Snakeman was used?

I can get that it was simply not shown but you can't assume that future sight was definitely used.

It is understandable that the G4 Snakeman with just hardening does no damage to powerful fighters like admirals.

Kizaru was listening in with the black snail. Oda didn't make it clear at all how much Kizaru currently knows. We end up with speculation.

All G5 attacks involved armament haki though so that's double standards.

We can't tell what haki is represented by the lightning because 2 types of haki are used in G5 and maybe armament haki.

So, you can say that Oda is inconsistent if you want because I can't disprove that for you.

All I'm saying is that there are 2 forms of hak in G5.

Do they really know what G5 means? It's a matter of how much admirals are kept in the dark about the void century. All they are told is to punish those that research it. Do they really know the why or they just follow orders like the military dogs they are. They straight up obey every command. Not sure they need to know or whether they get more info than what they need to know.

Akainu might know more since of his higher status and working closer together.

Kaidou can't hurt someone like Kizaru without adCoC. Every time he knocks Luffy, it is with adCoC, even in chapter 923. Kaidou don't need adCoC to hurt fodder but he needed it to hurt Luffy. So.
