I still think you’re expecting too much from this arc.

- Kuma flashback isn’t going to be long it’ll probably be the same length as Kaidos
- The Zoro vs Lucci fight is probably just going to last one chapter
- The Ancient Robot will take care of the VAs down below while luffy fights in the grid
- The blackbeard pirates will reveal themselves, complete their job, and leave when the grid falls

This arc is only going to last 2 more volumes imo.

You are expecting things to be blown over quickly, not Oda's style. Guaranteed we'll still be here in the 1100s and 1110s

IMO Oda wanted to have Kizaru handle Luffy casually so he could have this cliffhanger with Luffy coming back in his peak mode after getting packed but ACoC G4 Luffy getting low diffed on-screen would have completely shattered any kind of powerscaling consistency.

I mean Luffy is eating Kizaru's best attacks, the guy needs to fly off the island to gain distance and increase speed to simply do something that Base Kaidou can do with a swing of his arm. LOL
