I feel like Garling brought Shanks and his family to God Valley with him, and when Rox attacked the leaders called Garling the victor and gave him the fruit treasure in which Garling ate the fruit and put shanks in the chest.
The Rox pirates then took all the chests as treasure. Whitebeard ate his fruit during the fight and big mom gave one to Kaido. Kuma and Iva stole one each during the fight expecting them to give them a chance to escape and Roger Pirates take the only closed chest. The one with shanks.
And because of this they decide to stay in the west blue for a few years to raise him which is why the Roger Pirates got to Lodestar 39 years ago but didn’t go on their final voyage to raftel till 20 years ago

Yeah it was! Shanks one shotting Kid too, that's where I got the idea from in the first place.
Do you expect Nika vs Saturn to happen?
Should have been one panel to make it a nice reverse of Sabaody, showing OP Luffy vs Kizaru as opposed to OP Kizaru vs Luffy.
Could be that Oda is fatigued or still wants to figure things out or piecing the story elements together. He might even be making changes to what he had initially planned.

Oda is reminding everyone of the pirate betrayals again with Saturn like "a pirate group that cooperates..." because he was at god valley where Rocks ended as a pirate crew. We all know someone turned on Rocks, and it's time to find out who. Maybe it's more than one.
I think everyone assumes it's going to be Whitebeard, but I'll be on record saying Kaido drinks because he feels guilty and he's the one who betrayed them.

Oda likes to do reverses. Maybe there's some hidden secret here the characters are seeing that we don't.
Or it could be that Kizaru is the exact opposite of York and instead of wanting to become a CD, he dreams of becoming a pirate and will betray Saturn instead.
- Kizaru can move his hands, York can not.
- Kizaru feels sorry for not helping more. York cries for help.
- Kizaru is content with what the WG offers him. York is a gluton.
- Kizaru has dark hair. York is blonde.
- Kizaru is male. York is female.

Wouldnt be surprised. I still think the lurking legend is either Rocks or someone tied to the event at God Valley that caused Whitebeard to turncoat and ally with Roger/Garp (Oda: "perhaps it has something to do with Whitebeard").
I really wouldnt be surprised if he planned on showing the whole FB during Wano, then skipped over it at 2 separate points, then decided to just wait until Kuma
