Among people who inherited CoC from their parents - these guys have either rebelled or hated their parents/their philosophy & have followed another's. Specifically we were talking about Shanks, Ace & Yamato for the point - all of whom followed the footsteps of their parent's enemy.

Heck you can see it even in Luffy, rejecting Garp & following Shanks.
