there's actually a pretty cool theory about luffy NOT having a mom. remember the bigass polka dot egg they carried around on oro jackson?

well, there's a theory that it was the egg to hatch joyboy. it needed dragon's weather/wind df to hatch and luffy hatched from that egg. no mom and dragon isn't really his father either

don't think that's the only reason he helped Luffy, Luffy freed him from Impel down

Croco mom theory is something that gives this bland story some depth, Oda done and fucked up too many times with his shitty story telling
