This is true as well.

Fujitora's existence takes a shit on Garp's entire character. Garp had plenty cloud to do something against the CD in all those decades.

It was said that they weren't capable to get rid of Garp because of how popular he got with the people.

Fujitora came in as a nobody and managed to get rid of the balance and then literally freed slaves and helped them escape.

There are levels.
What it shows us that Fujitora is a very formidable political player. It doesn't say anything about his power compared to Dragon or the other Admirals. It is also possible he is the only one that could get away with what he is doing due to being blind and pretending to be slow. Humans always underestimate someone like that.

Political savvyness and leadership tier list
S-tier
Sengoku, Kong, Fujitora
A-tier
-
B-tier
Akainu, Aokiji
C-tier
-
D-tier
Garp
-
E-tier
Kizaru, Aramaki

Sengoku was unquestioned leader for years hailed for his strategic mind, Kong has climbed even beyond FA (could be due to being a yes man though) and Fujitora has in no time gotten his will through outsmarting Akainu and only gotten found out by the GOAT Sengoku.

Akainu and Aokiji both are able to lead but they can't unite the Marines leading to factions.

Garp has loyal followers but he is way too rash and lacks smart ways to dupe his superiors to get his will through.

Kizaru and Aramaki follow rather than lead.

Dragon probably is more of a leader in opposition than a savvy including leader. Likely rather fights it from outside than smartly from the inside like Fujitora.

Whenever the topic revolves around Garp and his relation with the CD's then supporting them is a necessary evil but when Admirals do it they're the dogs of the CD.

Remember all the shit talking when the most radical Admiral Akainu said that the people who suffer under the warlords are a necessarily sacrifice to keep the system running ?

What I'm asking for here is consistency.

If Garp is what I'm assuming written to be a good hearted person, he cannot turn a blind eye to all the suffering that's surrounding him which is caused by the people that give him his paycheck. They're literally forcing slaves to carry them.

Garp was in the position to do something but he didn't while guys like Dragon and Fuji did. I'm fine with that since I stan Akainu of all Marines but people should stop pretending like Garp is any different to the other Top Marines.
He differnt in sense that he did not want to be directly under the CD .
So if something happen to one of them you call admirals not garp and he don't have to see the face as much .
It his way of rebelling but that don't really mean much when still under the system .
