Took Oda 1100 chapters to show Dragon expressing a modicum of affection or concern for Luffy, I keep thinking this guy has mommy issues but there’s obviously more than a splash of “Daddy didn’t love me” in there…guess it’s a good thing he went into the manga business and not politics or he’d be emperor by now 
That is not how that works. Luffy, Ace, and Sabo are all decent people, even if their parents were absent, dead, or noble assholes, respectively. Those 3 had each other and other people who did care for them and influenced their lives. I think they grew up to be decent people in spite of their parents.
How is this L for Oda? Where is the proof that WG knew about Luffy until they found out later? They sent Kuma to kill him at TB but Kuma was an ally. Luffy has been protected by Garp and now proven by Dragon and also by Shanks. He has been travelling all over sometimes above in Sky ISLAND and sometimes below to FMI. It doesn't become an L just because you cannot think properly.

Akainu has sheer hatred for Dragon lmao. He must have been negged by him at some point.
Also you cannot tell the story with MC getting killed in the beginning. Thats just utter stupidity. Do people even know how protected Luffy was? Only time the world knew he was special is at MF and he had Akainu run after him for it. Garp protected Luffy, Dragon was watching over Luffy. If they create Chaos and send everyone after him from the start, everyone would know and most prolly the awakened fruit is more serious. Luffy was not the biggest threat until he awakened the fruit.
People think they are shakespeare 2.0 in trying to comment on retcons and stuff but they lack basic understanding.

oda keeps adding more sus details onto dragon each time brought up with luffy. don't hate him fully since he helped other people/country be freed. but when comes to luffy he never there.
