it's getting progressively worse, actually. at first it affected just one relatively mid character. but now it's starting to affect many other characters who could have been cool and have their own agency (kuma, kizaru, bonney etc etc)

in the end every character's story will revolve around this nika bs and oda doesn't care it'll take hundreds of retcons to make it so

They still have there own agency even with the nika stuff .
Like what chnage for Kizaru , he did nika dance but he was friends for these guys for month .
Him doing dance or know about Nika is did not stop him from fucking up Sento , Almost killing bonny and trying kill VP 3 times.
Even if he feels regretful that he has to do it .
