Seeing how Vegapunk himself (the scientist and inventor of the whole “command chip” in the first place) doesn’t seem to be aware what its meant to be other than being told by Kuma that its a “protective charm” (could be just a religious belief)

Of course though, Oda wouldn’t throw that panel for nothing unless it served a purpose

I think the whole point of this charm is in its shape: as stated by Bonney, it looks like the sun

She might believe its actually a protective charm and try to use it to repel Saturn after he loses to Kuma (obviously won’t work) only for Luffy (Sun God Nika) to come in and protect her.

WHICH makes it LOOK like the necklace actually did something.
That’s possible. It’s just a very weird item to introduce as it was meant to be the last thing Kuma would give his daughter in order to keep her safe in this world.

And I was thinking have we seen Bonney interact with a seraphim or pacifista outside of when she kicked luffy?

Shit, it really seems like Kizaru brought food to Luffy. But he probably did it secretly because he didn't want to officially betray the Marines. He wants Luffy to recover so that Luffy can do the job while he acts busy himself. I don't like that at all, because there have been no signs of it so far. The happy togetherness in the flashback isn't enough for me, because it had nothing to do with what was happening on Egghead in the present. So why the sudden change of heart? Assuming it really was Kizaru, of course.

The best you can say is killing VP is his job because of what VP did is big no no and everyone know this.
But he did not want sento and Bonney to died in cross fire.
If this chapter is anything it's those 2 he care about since he thinking about them and not VP.

Surprisingly enough, no.

Bonney never encountered any of the Seraphim since she was busy chasing Vegapunk, and she only saw two Pacifistas (the one at the start of the arc where she kicked Luffy and later when Sanji saved her from the Marines)

Which is really odd because you have S-Bear in here… another more sentient clone of her dad, and we’ve seen how the original shichibukai traits carry over to their Seraphim (aka Boa / S-Snake) so shouldn’t that mean S-Bear should be protecting Bonney too now?
It’s possible that S Bear (like Snake with Luffy) doesn’t have that protective nature of Bonney yet as S Bear has not interacted with Bonney yet.

I wouldn’t be overly shocked if Kuma gave her a charm that is designed to protect her from this army, nor would I be shocked if Vegapunk lied and this necklace isn’t from Kuma, but something Vegapunk made himself recently and believe Bonney would most likely wear it if Bonney thinks it’s from kuma

Its so funny hearing the latrine narrative. Kizaru is down and out but he is "resting", "he doesn't want to fight", " he fed luffy". He was touched just once by Luffy and he looks like someone that has been death diffing someone.
Why would he not want to fight? What has he done in the entire story to believe he'd fight against the Gorosei for Kuma and bonney?
Why would he feed Luffy and risk being caught by Saturn?
Because Kizaru is good guy he literally this entire arc hated fighting against his own friends . The part when Saturn was about to kill innocent child was touching point for his Justice .
