Everyone else is excommunicated. Most other Gorosei “fans” are just Yonko or Admiral fans pretending to be Gorosei fans whenever it’s convenient for agenda/shitposting purposes…

I honestly don't care to invest the time to learn the science behind it, as there is a ton of things that factor into the sea level rising with Islands sinking. It's fiction, and it's not going to be 100 percent accurate. If you want it to keep you up all night, then by all means, have at it.
