I know right? It's great how it allows for more discoveries down the road, like their origin, but it's also a fitting explanation on its own. Imagine seeing the people who's dreams they originally were in the Void Century flashback. It's also interesting to think about how "dreams" (fruits) relate to "will" (haki). That chapter was a bigger development in the series than I think most people realise.

biggest lore drop to the world. Us as the viewer will learn some things while knowing much of what’s going on, the one piece populace for the most part has no idea. This info will fracture the WG causing division among them and the marines, push Dragons agenda into overdrive, and depending what else he spills could get the pirates into a bigger frenzy. The real lore drops should come from Robin imo , and if you’re not into one piece lore maybe you should just put your time and energy into a true battle manga like JJK
